In addition to the traditional Sunday morning worship service, Christ Lutheran Church hosts events and services throughout the year to commemorate holidays and times of celebration. These special, seasonal, and themed services offer many opportunities to celebrate the Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter seasons and observe significant events in the life of the church and our community. We invite you, your family, and your friends to join us each and every season and throughout the church year.

Lent, Holy Week,
and Easter Sunday 2022
The season of Lent is observed during the 6 weeks that lead up to the joyous celebration of Easter Sunday.
Holy Week, the last week of Lent before Easter, is a week that we commemorate and reflect on the suffering and death of Jesus Christ.
Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, the most important holy day of the church year, celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Ash Wednesday Service – March 2, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday Services – March 9, 2022 through April 13, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
Holy Week, the last week of Lent before Easter, is a week that we commemorate and reflect on the suffering and death of Jesus Christ.
- Palm Sunday Service – April 10, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
- Maundy Thursday Service – April 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
- Good Friday Services – April 15, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday Easter Vigil Service – April 16, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, the most important holy day of the church year, celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Easter Sunrise Service – Riverfront Park at 7:00 a.m.
- Easter Festival Service at 9:30 a.m.
Advent and Christmas 2022
Advent, the celebrated season of preparation and anticipation, is observed during the 4 weeks that lead up to Christmas. For the year 2022, Advent will begin on Sunday, November 27th, 2022 and end on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
