Traditional, varied and fresh. Christ Lutheran uses worship services in a variety of styles - all based on the historic liturgy of the the church through the ages. Each Sunday worship includes the celebration of Holy Communion.

    • Marty Haugen's "Now the Feast and Celebration"
    • "Evangelical Lutheran Worship" setting two
    • Ralph Sappington's "Celebration of Grace"
    • "Listen God is Calling," an East African service with piano and drum
    • a locally developed chorale setting: "Called to be a New Creation."

Wednesday Evening at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday evening worship at Christ Lutheran is casual, intimate, and only 30 minutes long! Especially helpful for those who "miss" on Sunday, some also like to attend it as an additional mid-week spiritual focus.
Messages are often in dialogue, and communion is shared in a circle around the altar.

Christ Lutheran uses the Revised Common Lectionary of scripture readings. For the texts appointed, click here to go to Vanderbilt University’s Lectionary resource.
