Christ Lutheran has active Women’s and Men’s Servant Teams which began with inspiration from a Youth Servant Team experience. They bring the love of Christ to bear in various settings (soup kitchens, Boys and Girls Clubs, AIDS ministries and shelters, etc.) and places (Albuquerque, Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, San Francisco). During 2006-7 both teams traveled to the Gulf Coast to help with ongoing rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina. A Women’s Servant Team went to inner-city Seattle in October of 2008.
