Christ Lutheran has active Women’s and Men’s Servant Teams which began with inspiration from a Youth Servant Team experience. They bring the love of Christ to bear in various settings (soup kitchens, Boys and Girls Clubs, AIDS ministries and shelters, etc.) and places (Albuquerque, Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, San Francisco). During 2006-7 both teams traveled to the Gulf Coast to help with ongoing rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina.

The Women’s Servant Team is planning a January 2008 trip to Phoenix, AZ. You are invited to prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to “help the least of these” and to broaden your world perspective by joining this trip or by supporting those who go.
